Delta Global Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc., has a Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Programmer Job in Atlanta, GA through our Staffing Division. In the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Programmer Job, the candidateis responsible for the Data Producer, EFB Admin, and Data Distribution swim lanes.
Creates and maintains processes for updating onboard Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs) with current charts, manuals, and applications.
Updates onboard EFBs with current chart, manuals, applications and other required data.
Uses proprietary Airbus software to create and distribute Field Loadable Software packages containing content updates.
Tracks currency of content on A350 aircraft using Airbus software.
Swaps EFB hardware on A350 during break/fix scenarios or for scheduled equipment swap.
Maintains a ready pool of ship-ready EFBs.
Performs testing of EFBs on IT workbench.
Works with TechOps, Delta IT, and Corporate Security on creating and managing EFB Security protocols.
Guides Flight Ops Publications and Flight Ops Engineering for proper preparation of manuals, performance data, and MEL content.
Works with Simulator Engineering to maintain simulator and procedure trainer EFBs.
Provides input for business continuity planning and how it relates to ship set EFBs.

Airbus 350 software knowledge a plus
