Qualifications:

  • Ideal candidate will possess a four-year degree in a technical discipline such as aviation management, aircraft maintenance technology, mathematics or computer science and an A&P license.

  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.

  • Ideal candidate will have 3+ years work experience in airline operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, aircraft maintenance and reliability programs, technical data management, data analysis.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, SAS, Alteryx, Tableau or similar data query and visualization tools is required.

  • Must have demonstrated cross-functional participation and team-building skills.

  • Have the ability to effectively drive for results in a cross-functional team environment and work closely with TechOps personnel to prepare detailed analysis and complex performance reports.

  • Must be a highly motivated individual who performs with minimal supervision.

  • Must have strong analytical skills and should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, and be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Must be assertive, success-oriented, and a team player.

  • Must demonstrate the ability to deliver results against demanding timelines.

  • Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.

  • Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Manager, Quality Assurance - CASS & SMS. The Program Manager, Quality Assurance is responsible for assisting in safety assurance and compliance risk management activities in Technical Operations (TechOps) programs for Continuous Analysis Surveillance System (CASS) and Safety Management System (SMS).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Primary point of contact for compiling the necessary data from the quality and compliance database pertaining to safety and compliance metrics and score cards for all TechOps business units and Essential Maintenance Providers.

  • Apply analytical and technical skills to provide periodic detailed analysis and reports that identify root cause and performance trends in quality and compliance metrics for all TechOps business units and Essential Maintenance Providers.

  • Participates in compilation of quality assurance data that supports the safety assurance element of our Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS)

  • Develops complex queries and administers technology tools that support data collection, data gathering and data analysis for the CASS Quality Assurance Index, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plan performance

  • Primary resource for adhoc reporting requirements and special requests of quality assurance data

  • May provide support to Technical Operations (TechOps) business units with the application and execution of safety risk management (SRM) and where applicable safety risk assessment (SRA) in support of our safety management system (SMS).

  • Monitors periodic inputs of CASS by observing and collecting pertinent information from various TechOps performance meetings, including but not limited to Daily Ops Calls, Operational Difficulty Items (ODI), Fleet Reliability Meetings, Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR), CASS Board, ZTI Board, Safety Round Table (SRT)

  • Assists with the development and distribution of periodic quality assurance reports, such as monthly CASS Board and Zero Tolerance Items (ZTI), Periodic Business Reviews (PBR) for Essential Maintenance Providers (EMP) and Safety Round Table (SRT).

  • Maintain data files pertinent to preparation of performance metrics and score cards.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager, Quality Assurance – CASS & SMS.
