DAL Global Services Bagroom Agent in Honolulu, Hawaii



Under the supervision of the lead agent and/or supervisor on duty, bagroom agents are responsible for receiving, loading, unloading and distributing passengers’ checked baggage. Bagroom agents may also be responsible for record keeping procedures associated with baggage and flight records.


  • Ensures proper conveyances are set up to sort and distribute incoming bags.

  • Reads and verifies the city and flight number for every bag to ensure correct loading of customer bags.

  • Organizes and prioritizes baggage load for delivery to the proper aircraft for loading.

  • Ensures compliance with all TSA, DOT, FAA, OSHA safety rules, regulations and applicable laws.

  • Accepts responsibility for safety of scanner and associated equipment.

  • Scans each bag as it arrives into the bagroom.

  • Forwards and receives bags to/from TSA for processing.

  • Ensures appropriate attention paid to priority items.

  • Handles customer interaction in efficient, effective and professional manner.

  • Other duties as assigned.
