DAL Global Services Performance Manager (AS) in Honolulu, Hawaii
Under the supervision of the Station Manager, the Performance Manager is responsible for ensuring the daily operation runs in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
Oversees and coordinates team activities to ensure a safe, reliable, efficient and effective operation.
Although focused primarily on the passenger service operation, the PAX Service Duty Manager may also be responsible for managing activities in the ramp, cargo, baggage or other work area(s) as defined by the station manager.
Monitors and enforces safe and compliant working environment in accordance with TSA, DOT, USPS and OSHA regulations and all applicable laws.
Coaches, counsels and mentors employees and enforces Company policies and procedures, including issuing disciplinary action as required.
Promotes and adheres to DGS policy including but not limited to safety, professional conduct, and equal opportunity.
Assists in recruiting, payroll, scheduling and other general administrative activities.
Optimizes staffing resources usage and operational and financial performance of assigned shift/work area(s).
Promotes team building initiative and performs coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.
Ensures information is communicated in a clear, comprehensive manner.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
